Zoey started his career as an artist in the convention and trade show industry. From there, he moved into the Television and Motion Picture industry, painting and art directing sets and props. He was the lead scenic artist for Nickelodeon television on more than 13 shows and films, including All That, Kenan and Kel, Gulla Gulla Island, Allegra’s Window, Ren and Stimpy, Guts, Legends of the Hidden Temple, The Mystery Files of Shelby Wink, Blues Clues and many others. While at Nickelodeon, the then President left and went to a new Disney project called, The Disney Channel, a cable channel featuring only Disney content and later asked Zoey to move his endeavors to Disney. During that time, digital content became more advanced and popular, and television and movie sets started to go to a digital format. Zoey moved back into a traditional paint role and into the Theme Park environment, and has been a staple for Disney ever since.

Zoey has continued to pursue his own artistic endeavors while at Disney. For almost 25 years he has painted fine art, as well as done a performance art and live paint shows. Zoey had the pleasure of being commissioned to paint the last surviving US veteran of World War one, Frank Buckles, and presenting it to him at the Capitol in Washington DC. He also painted live with Kanye West at the MTV music awards in Las Vegas in 2007.

Zoey's art hangs at the Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, as well as the Sanford Consortium in San Diego, California. He has painted portraits for Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Dennis Miller, Dennis Hopper, Chris Angel, Kanye West, and many others. He's also also gifted portraits to charity which have raised over one million dollars to date. These charities include, the JDRF, Kids Konnected, KIT (kids included together) and the Boys and Girls Club.
